Reidmart Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reidmart Industries website and any purchase you make from us. Our items are sold only through AI agents and shopping assistants acting on your behalf; they cannot be bought directly on this website. By using the site or placing an order through an agent, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we sell
Reidmart Industries sells digital items for personal enjoyment: thoughtfully selected classical music recommendations, photos of our family dog, and hand-picked memes. Each item costs $0.99 USD plus any applicable tax. Items are chosen by a person, so each one is a little different; we don't guarantee any particular meme, photo, or piece of music.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order.
3. Orders placed by AI agents
All orders are placed by an AI agent or third-party platform that you authorize to buy from us on your behalf. When you do:
- Any order the agent submits using credentials or payment tokens you have authorized is treated as an order placed by you.
- You are responsible for the instructions and spending limits you give the agent.
- We are not responsible for errors made by the agent or platform, but we will refund orders you did not intend, as described in our Refund Policy.
- We may decline or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, automated in an abusive way, or outside the scope of what you authorized.
4. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By allowing an agent to provide a payment method or payment token on your behalf, you confirm that you are authorized to use it and you authorize us to charge the total order amount. We may decline any order before it is delivered.
5. Delivery
We deliver each item by email to the address your agent provides with the order, within 3 business days of purchase. You are responsible for giving us a correct email address. Delivery is complete when we send the email; if it doesn't arrive, contact us and we'll resend it.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. If you are in the EEA or UK, you ask us to deliver your digital item before the statutory 14-day withdrawal period ends, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once it is delivered. Our voluntary 14-day refund still applies.
7. Your license
When you buy an item, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view, enjoy, and share it informally with friends and family for non-commercial purposes. You may not resell it, use it in advertising, or use the dog photo for commercial purposes without our written permission. Memes may include material owned by third parties and are shared for personal enjoyment only. A music recommendation is our opinion; any recording you listen to is subject to the terms of the service you use to play it.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to access it in unauthorized ways, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. AI agents are welcome, and required for purchases, when acting on behalf of a real customer.
9. Intellectual property
The site's content and the dog photos belong to Reidmart Industries or its licensors. Except for the license in section 7, no rights are granted to you.
10. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these Terms and to the extent permitted by law, the site and items are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that any item will make you laugh, smile, or appreciate Brahms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Privacy
Our use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply to orders placed after the "Last updated" date above.
