This policy explains what personal information Reidmart Industries ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website or buy from us, and how we use it. Our items are sold only through AI agents and shopping assistants acting on your behalf. Because everything we sell is delivered by email, we collect very little.
Information we collect
- Order information: your email address, your name if you provide it, and the item you bought.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we receive only limited information such as the card brand, last four digits, expiration date, and billing country or postal code.
- Agent purchases: when your AI agent places an order for you, we receive the order details and email address the agent shares with us, along with a payment token issued by Stripe or the agent platform. We do not receive your underlying card credentials.
- Communications: messages you send us, such as support or refund requests.
- Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) kept for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect a shipping address, because nothing we sell is shipped.
How we use your information
- To process your payment and email you the item you bought.
- To send order confirmations and reply to your questions and refund requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing email unless you ask us to. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process payments and prevent fraud. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Our email provider, to deliver your purchase and order emails.
- The AI agent or platform you used, limited to order status and the details needed to complete the purchase you requested.
- Our hosting provider, which runs this website.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies
Our website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, such as those Stripe may set for fraud prevention. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes, generally up to 7 years. Server logs are deleted after 90 days. Support messages are kept for up to 2 years.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain uses of it. California residents have rights under the CCPA, and residents of the EEA and UK have rights under the GDPR. To make a request, email reidmartindustries@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Security
We use HTTPS across the site and rely on Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider, for payment handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
